KLA12 Fixed Active Array 12" 1000W Speaker

The KLA Series brings the power and sophistication of a line array system into an easy-to-use product significantly redefining the line array product category. With its simple Lift, Click and Play approach, KLA can be deployed in a fraction of the time required by comparable line array products. 

This fixed arcuate, active line array system is ideal for a wide range of portable and permanently installed applications ranging from live entertainment to houses of worship or other venues where a line array system is desired. 

KLA Power Module

The KLA12 features a highly efficient 500 watt by 500 watt power amp module and the KLA181 offers the same highly efficient power amp module in a 1,000 watt configuration. This efficient design enables up to five KLA models (any combination of KLA12 and KLA181) to be driven off of a single 15 amp, 240volt electrical circuit. 

KLA loudspeakers incorporate QSC's DEEP™ DSP algorithm - providing extended bass response by actively managing potentially damaging low-frequency transients - and GuardRail™ circuitry protection which prevents the amplifier module from unnatural and destructive clipping. 

As an energy saving feature, the Auto Standby mode automatically engages after five minutes of inactivity but upon resumption of audio signal, the power module on the KLA will awaken instantly for immediate output. 

In an installed application, multiple KLA Series loudspeakers can be "daisy-chained" for total gain control from a single remote pot wired to the on-board Phoenix-style connector. Additional power module characteristics on KLA include a balanced, line-level XLR input in parallel with an XLR "Thru" connector, PowerCon™ In and Thru connectors, Attenuation Control and LED indicators for Signal, Limit, Power and Standby status.

Electro-Voice have done it again with this amazing product. With Evolve EV have managed to replicate the sound of a conventional large format speaker system into a compact and bijoux format. The Electro-Voice Evolve 50 column array system is made up of 4 parts. The 12” Active subwoofer, top speaker element, the connecting pole, & carry bag.

Electro-Voice have created a very compact wooden 12” subwoofer which weighs in at only 21.5KG. The electronics on board this subwoofer features a 1000w amplifier with 5 possible inputs, 2x XLR/TRS sockets, 1x RCA, 1x 3.5mm jack and a Bluetooth connection. The sub has 3 conveniently placed handles 1 on top of the unit and 1 on each side it also features the same quicksmart DSP as featured on zlx, ekx, etx etc.

The Evolve 50 top element is an aluminium housing holding 8x 3.5” neodymium drivers which are positioned in a vertical array format with individual wave guides. The 8 speakers are arranged in a curve towards the bottom of the element this generates a true line array characteristic of coupling the components to act as one sound source generating a louder volume whilst increasing the lower mid frequencies of the whole system.

The aluminium connection pole which fits between the Subwoofer and the top element carries all the required connections so there is no extra cabling required, this gives evolve a great streamline and sophisticated look. EV have also thought about how the system gets put up and taken down in the bottom of the pole hole on the sub there are a pair of magnets which secure the pole in place. EMA (Electro-voice magnetic assist) This is particularly useful on disassembly as the pole remains in the sub and cannot come away with the top element.  

The carry case is included in the system and accepts the top element and the pole. (sub bag optional)

Another new feature to the new Electro-Voice models is the introduction of the Control app “Gain” This allows the user to pair up to 6 evolves from an android or IOS device, you can control devices in groups or individually, adjust volume / eq.  What’s also nice is the app sends you alerts if the speakers are clipping or have lost connection.

As for lower frequencies, the VIO series is completed by VIO S318 subwoofer, a one of a kind system both for its acoustic configuration and majestic output. Indeed, dBTechnologies succeded in designing an extraordinary powerful triple 18” woofer system while maximizing its frontal emission and extending lower frequencies.

Vio S318 is equipped with 3 18” bassreflex half-horn loaded woofers, configured in order to maximize frontal emission. The 3 voice coils are in facts mechanically aligned in order to achieve a perfect phase response.

The 3 DIGIPRO G3 amplifiers deliver a total 2700 W RMS power, allowing the system to reach up to 143dB SPL.

The system features an integrated delay module achieving up to 9.9 ms delay with 0,5  ms steps. The crossover module sets the low pass filter alongside with the highpass filter for the integrated crossover output. The system also features an attenuation control, a polarity switch and a RDnet port for remote control.

The high quality multiplex housing is reinforced with a robust polyurea finishing and equipped with 5 aluminium handles per side.

The dolly transport DT-318 allows to transport up to 3 subs simoultaneously, both on wheels or on lift track. As an alternative to the dolly, wheels can be mounted on the rear side of the cabinet. 

DB Technologies VIO L210 Line array Element

DAS Event-210A Line array

The Event 210A makes use of the M-75 compression driver with 75 mm aluminum EFW voice coil and titanium diaphragm for HF reproduction. The proprietary injected aluminum HF waveguide has been designed specifically for the Event Line Arrays providing precise 90º horizontal coverage. The Event 210A low/low-mid frequencies are reproduced by two 10" cone speakers. This section uses a "twin-band" configuration where each speaker operates in a specific frequency range. At low frequencies, the speakers work in tandem for maximum power, each driven by a dedicated amplifier channel providing 360 Wpeak output power. Above the low frequency range, the advanced digital signal processing feeds the mid signal to only one of the two low fr equency drivers, while the other is rolled off. This technique eliminates off-axis interference between the drivers enabling the Event Line Arrays to maintain optimal polar and frequency response characteristics throughout the low and low-mid operating ranges. Each individual enclosure for the low frequency drivers has been tuned to provide optimum response for the specific operating range of each driver. In the same fashion, the digital signal processing, limiting and protections are specific to each way, reducing intermodulation distortion. The Easy-DSPTM Interface provides fast and easy line array configuration. The frequency response of each unit can be modified depending on the number of units in the array. A “downfill” correction is also available.
