Xa2-PRO – LX 3000 system
The Xa2-PRO – LX 3000 system is ideal for applications such as small city open-air festivals and mobile DJ events covering distances from 20 up to 40 meters. All cabinets have a new heavy-duty structured lacquer surface and a solid-steel front grille matching the latest Dynacord enclosure design. The Xa2-PRO system’s main features – very high sound pressure levels from very compact enclosures, extremely convenient handling, and the ultimate sonic performance at a very reasonable price – will continue to be a benchmark.

The Xa2-PRO – LX 3000 system is the high-end configuration featuring IRIS-Net supervision and control and complete FIR-drive. This most powerful configuration includes one DSP 600 processor and two powerful LX 3000 power amplifiers.
The Dynacord FX12-PRO is a medium longthrow mid/high- frequency cabinet in coaxial design.
It can be used also without subwoofer cabinets in high-quality sound reinforcement system for speech for medium-throw distances. The recommended active x-over frequency is 140 Hz, 18 dB/oct. Butterworth. In the lo-mid range an ND 12 A Electro-Voice loudspeaker chassis works into a conical horn. The 80x40 Constant Directivity horn, driven by an Electro-Voice 1.4" ND 6 neodymium driver delivers the frequency range above 1kHz. The FX12-PRO is equipped with a passive x-over (1kHz, 18 dB/oct). Every transducer is protected against thermal overload with an electronic circuit called voice coil tracking protection. This circuit senses the terminal voltages of the transducers and simulates the thermal behaviour of the tranducers’ voice coils. In case of a potential thermal overload the power applied to the speakers is reduced to a safe level. Power amps up to 1200W 8 Ohms can be used in order to have maximum dynamic range without the danger of thermal overload in non-controlled situations. The voice coil tracking protection exhibits ‘soft’ switching characteristics, so no annoying clicks or pops are audible. The circuitry automatically resets after the voice coil temperature has reached a safe value.
The Dynacord FX20-PRO is a Planar Waveguide Basshorn, equipped with the high-power Electro-Voice EVX 180B 18" transducer.
Frequency response is 30Hz - 150Hz (-10dB), so the crossover frequency to Mid-Hi cabinets can be chosen strictly application-oriented between 80Hz and 140Hz. The cabinet is equipped with an electronic circuit called voice coil tracking protection. This circuit senses the terminal voltage of the transducer and simulates the thermal behaviour of the woofer´s voice coil. The circuitry automatically resets after the voice coil temperature has reached a safe value. The FX20-PRO cabinet is made of 15mm birch plywood. All corner joints and braces are grooved and glued. The cabinet has a heavy-duty structured lacquer surface and a solid-steel front grille matching the latest Dynacord enclosure design. The connector panel uses two 4-pole Speakon connectors (IN/OUT) for a safe connection and easy daisy-chaining to other cabinets. The pin assignment is 1+/1-. Pins 2+ and 2- are also connected between the respective two Speakon connectors. When using Dynacord power amp racks or system amplifiers, the whole system can be wired with 4-pole Speakon cables without any danger of accidental wiring mistakes. The cabinet is equipped with eight large rubber feet that allow easy stacking. Six handles and four heavy-duty castors on the rear side guarantee easy and safe transport.
The new flagship of the LX series delivers a mighty 2 x 2100 watts into 2 ohms and 2 x 1500 watts into 4 ohms and therefore has plenty of headroom for large subwoofer arrays. The DSP 600 is a networkable digital sound system processor with 2 analogue, 2 digital AES/EBU inputs and 6 analogue outputs offering audio signal processing of the highest quality with a dual-core DSP-topology, 24-bit linear AD/DA converters and with 48-bit double-precision processing resolution.
At > 116 dB, the dynamic range of the DSP 600 is at the upper extreme of what is technically feasible; THD is less than 0,002 %.
With IIR filters and high-resolution 512-tap FIR filters, precise loudspeaker protection and a multi-stage delay concept, the DSP 600 sets new standards in the field of digital loudspeaker processing.
Over IRIS-Net, any desired number of DSP 600 processors, together with other IRIS-Net capable devices, can be configured and operated swiftly and conveniently.
The configuration and control of the DSP 600 is handled either directly at the device or with the help of IRIS-Net via Ethernet and / or USB.
Direct-access keys make it possible to edit parameters swiftly at the device. In all, 90 program-storage locations are provided, of which 60 are dedicated to factory-presets and a further 30 available for freely programmable user-presets (compatible with RCM-26 and P 64 speaker-settings)
A unique and particularly remarkable feature is the multi-stage delay concept featuring dedicated delays for different applications in complex audio systems.
